Natural Photo- Jumping
This photo shows five people jumping in the air. When you jump the force of gravity pulls you back down again. That is why when you jump you don’t float up into space because the gravity pulls you back down. Gravity is the pull from the centre of the earth that attracts everything towards it. If there was no gravity we would float up to space and never come down again. If you have ever been to space or read books about space you may know that in space there is no gravity because you are out of the earth’s atmosphere. Because the people in this photo are inside the earth’s atmosphere they will land after they have jumped.

Omg that is so true! Thanks for your help. I am actually doing a science experiment on gravity and stuff at the moment.

All the best,

"in space there is no gravity because you are out of the earth’s atmosphere". ----- Is this correct? What about the people who walked on the moon?
